Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure safety in the scan room, and produce high quality images for Radiologists. You will orient patients and families to the procedure and prepare them for the study.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prior radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanning equipment and ensure MRI safety in the scan room.
• Produce high-quality images used by Radiologists.
• Orient patients and families to the scan procedure and prepare them for the study.
• Communicate procedural information to the Radiologist.
• Prepare and assess image quality and present completed images to the Radiologist.

Education

AA+ degree in radiologic technology or related field
