Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a qualified MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures for clinical and research patients. You will join a multidisciplinary team, ensure safe patient care, and maintain accurate imaging records while supporting MRI safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have six months of supervised MRI experience, an associate’s degree, ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT MR credentials, and BLS within 30 days of employment. A sign-on bonus is included.

Qualifications

• Six months of supervised clinical experience in MRI.
• Successful completion of an ARRT MR approved educational program is preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment for patient care imaging and manages related data in the EMR.
• Provides information to radiologists and physicians with patient history and consent.
• Collaborates with staff to ensure safe, high-quality imaging and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Maintains quality improvement initiatives and supports department accreditation efforts.
