Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Pediatric MRI Department. The role involves performing MRI exams, preparing patients, and ensuring safety. The technologist will work with Radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic information.

The position is full-time with Weekday Afternoon shifts, Mon-Fri 14:30–23:00 and rotating weekends, located at Downtown - Main Building in Jacksonville, FL. ARMRIT/ARRT(MR)/CRT credentials required; CPR/BCLS essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Vocational School or Associate's Degree in radiologic technology.
• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) OR CRT certification required.
• CPR and BCLS certification required; ARRT MRI registry within 18 months if CRT/ARRT(R) held.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations.
• Prepare patients and explain the MRI procedure.
• Maintain patient safety and protect from magnetic field hazards.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate diagnoses.
