Job summary

Shriners Children's in Galveston, TX is seeking a Motion Analysis Center Physical Therapist (MAC PT) to provide evaluation and motion analysis center services for pediatric patients. You will work directly with a multidisciplinary team to design individualized treatment plans and contribute to education for patients and families.

The role includes conducting SMACnet-based exams, interpreting kinematics and EMG data, generating concise evaluations, and leading MAC reviews with physicians.

Qualifications

• Pediatric physical therapy experience is required.
• PT license in good standing is required.
• MS or DPT degree preferred would be advantageous.
• Experience interpreting motion lab data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide motion analysis evaluations for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with MAC staff, physicians, and allied health staff.
• Lead scheduled motion analysis patient reviews and present findings.
• Document evaluations following state requirements and CPT/HCPCS guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about motion analysis results and implications.
