Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Moonlighter Trainee (Extra Call for Pay). The role supports urgent patient care, under the supervision of an attending physician, documenting care in the patient record and coordinating procedures as needed.

The position requires an MD/DO in Medicine, current residency/fellowship status, Illinois medical license, and ALS verification. The hospital offers extensive benefits and a mission‑driven environment in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Must be a current trainee in an approved fellowship or residency program.
• Must have a current Illinois Medical License.
• Must have current ALS (Advanced Life Support) verification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the care of the patient.
• Collaborates with the Attending Physician under their supervision.
• Perform procedures as needed for the patient under the supervision of an Attending Physician, when applicable.
• Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co‑workers and others.
• Other duties as assigned.
