Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a medical geneticist with specialized training in biochemical genetics to join our expanding academic faculty in the Division of Medical Genetics and Genomics within Pediatrics.

The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care for metabolic and genetic disorders across the lifespan, including newborn screening follow-up, diagnostic evaluations, and long-term management, with opportunities to grow clinical and research

Qualifikationen

• ABMGG board eligible or certified.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina.
• Interest in inherited metabolic disorders and rare diseases.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for metabolic/genetic disorders across the lifespan.
• Include newborn screening follow-up and diagnostic evaluations.
• Long-term disease management and multidisciplinary care.
• Grow clinical and research programs in metabolic genetics and rare disease therapeutics.
• Participate in industry-sponsored or investigator-initiated clinical trials.
