PSCFL is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect care under the guidance of the RN in the FTL Pediatrics Med Surg unit. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, taking vitals, and supporting patient procedures.

Qualified candidates will have CNA training and Florida CNA eligibility, BLS, and experience with phlebotomy/EKG preferred. Strong communication, time management, and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• Completion of Nursing Assisting Training Program or equivalent eligible for Florida CNA exam.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required and active.
• Florida CNA certification preferred; healthcare experience preferred; phlebotomy/EKG experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Receive patient care assignments from the RN and perform delegated tasks.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Record vital signs and measurements in the Electronic Health Record.
• Support with venipuncture, lab specimen collection, and phlebotomy as needed.
• Communicate significant changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Restock supplies and assist with room turnover.
• Provide comfort and support to patients and families.
• Greet patients and explain NCHS services and assist with access.
