Pediatrics On Demand is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant in Oak Lawn, IL. The role supports doctors and nurses, maintains patient records, schedules appointments, and performs routine procedures including phlebotomy and vital signs.

Eligibility includes Healthcare experience, a high school diploma or higher, and CMA certification is preferred. Weekend availability and night shifts are required. Training on OSHA/HIPAA is expected.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• High School Diploma or higher.
• AdvancedMD experience is a plus.
• Experience in pediatrics.
• CMA certification preferred.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Answer patient phone calls.
• Measure patient height, weight, vital signs.
• Schedule patient appointments and chart medical data.
• Assist doctors and nurses during examinations.
• Draw blood and collect lab samples as ordered.
• Maintain neat records and prepare treatment rooms.
• Stock exam rooms with supplies and sterilize equipment.
• Assist with injections and patient triage as needed.
