Job summary

Lee Health’s Bonita Health Center in Estero, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric Primary Care team. You will support providers with patient flow, rooming, vital signs, immunizations, and documentation in a fast-paced, family-centered setting.

Qualified candidates may have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program or hold CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, with at least one year of recent MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active CMA/CCMA/RMA certification preferred.
• Have at least one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care, rooming, vital signs, immunizations, and documentation.
• Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Prepare and maintain patient care areas; coordinate lab specimens and medications.
