Job summary

Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs seeks a Medical Assistant to perform clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of the Physician and intermediaries. You will assist front office personnel and support patient care management in a busy pediatric setting.

Requirements include a High School diploma, completion of an ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited MA program, and CMA or RMA certification. One year of customer service experience is preferred; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, on-site.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate from ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred; BCLS training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative tasks under direct/supervisory physician oversight.
• Assist front office with registration, scheduling, and insurance verification per Office Manager.
• Support patient care management under supervision of clinicians and support staff.
