Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Part-Time Medical Assistant II to join our Central Florida Rehab Acute Care team in Orlando. You’ll support pediatric endocrine care, coordinate patient visits, and assist with clinical procedures in a collaborative setting.

The role requires travel to Lakeland and Melbourne clinics as needed. You’ll be a key liaison among patients, families, and providers within Nemours’ pediatric specialty care network.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications acceptable.
• Travel to Lakeland and Melbourne locations required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and prepare patients, collect vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines under supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform basic lab tasks.
• Document patient information in EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow for efficient visits.
• Educate patients/families using approved materials.
• Maintain clean, compliant exam rooms and equipment.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Perform additional clinical/administrative duties as needed.
