Job summary

The M.A. II will precept new staff, maintain exam rooms, handle specimen transport, and ensure accurate charting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of recognized Medical Assistant training program required.
• Three years MA experience at LPCHS or five years total experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical duties such as taking vital signs, injections, venipuncture, specimen collection, and basic patient care.
• Assist with sterile and non-sterile procedure setups; administer medications under supervision.
• Prepare exam rooms, assist with patient examinations, and maintain supplies.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records and communicate with clinicians.
