Job summary

Boulder Medical Center seeks a Medical Assistant to join the Pediatric Team in Louisville and Erie. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role includes working Monday through Friday and every 5th Saturday, with benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Experience as an MA in a clinic setting is preferred; education options include Medical Assistant training or related healthcare programs. Starting pay ranges reflect experience and site needs.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant education. Certification is not required but preferred.
• Other completed medical training or active certification acceptable substitutions (EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA).
• Military medical training with supporting documentation acceptable substitution.
• College graduates with health science coursework acceptable; transcripts requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional nursing care as patient advocate, facilitator and educator.
• Recognize and respond to emergency or unusual situations in the clinic with nursing judgment.
• Assist patients prep for provider examination and treatment.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms with supplies and instruments.
• Assist the provider with examinations and procedures as needed.
