Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Orange County is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support routine clinical tasks in both back and front office within an Orange, CA practice. The MA I will work under physician supervision and вспомогательное leadership within the department.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Medical Assistant Diploma preferred, and BLS certification. English proficiency and basic computer skills are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one prior healthcare exposure (clinical externship or job)
• High School Diploma or GED required; MA diploma preferred
• Proficient in medical terminology; able to communicate in English clearly
• Knowledge of computer systems and software used in clinical settings

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with routine clinical tasks in back and front office
• Maintain patient flow and documentation under supervision
• Support with appointment scheduling, charting, and basic medical record data entry
