Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA or related certification may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in basic delivery of patient care under supervision.
• Completes assigned tasks/orders from practitioners.
• Demonstrates competency in phlebotomy and safe specimen collection.
• Conducts intake processes with accurate vital signs.
• Provides 1:1 monitoring of behavioral patients as assigned.
