Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Medical Assistant in Georgia to support direct and indirect patient care across pediatric services. The role involves vitals, phlebotomy, vaccinations, radiography under physician guidance, and administrative duties to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and completion of an accredited medical assistant program, with BLS due within 30 days.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed medical assistant training program from an accredited school or equivalent military training program.
• Certification in CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA or other recognized medical assisting credential; Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment.

• Assists in basic delivery of patient care as assigned by licensed professionals, applying age-appropriate care standards.
• Completes tasks/orders from providers.
• Demonstrates competency during intake, including accurate vital signs.
• May perform phlebotomy, vaccination administration, spirometry, and radiographs under physician direction.
• Organizes and documents patient care with clear communication.
• Handles multiple tasks in fast-paced environments while maintaining service quality.
• Greets patients, informs families of delays, relays messages and assists families as needed.
• Performs administrative duties to promote efficient operations, including opening/closing, phones, waiting room updates, and restocking beverages.
• Adheres to infection control, safety, and OSHA procedures.
• Demonstrates competencies across age groups (neonate to adult) as applicable.
