Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP, ABHES, or DOE-approved program.
• Certification as CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) required within 90 days of employment; prior to 11/30/2021 hires have one year to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Clinical duties include taking vital signs, recording histories, performing ECGs and other diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, and administering medications under supervision.
• Administrative duties include processing prescriptions, obtaining prior authorizations, handling messages and documentation, and supporting transcription and medication reconciliation within EHR.

Education
