Job summary

University of Utah Health - Pediatrics seeks a Medical Assistant for its West High School (WHS) Clinic in Salt Lake City. The MA supports licensed staff in delivering pediatric care, handles clerical tasks, data tracking, and registration processes.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, performing CLIA-waived tests, assisting with injections and catheters, and scheduling follow-up visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications describe required credentials and experience: eCredential within 30 days; EMT course or MA experience; MA education program or certification; screened per preferences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical and clerical tasks to support pediatric care.
• Prepare patients and procedures; document data and billing charges.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate diagnostics under licensed staff supervision.
