Job summary

Uloop Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our pediatric team, performing administrative and clinical duties to keep the clinic running smoothly. You will assist doctors and patients with patient care management, organization and communication.

The role includes interviewing patients, taking vitals, scheduling wellness visits, handling lab tests and vaccine logs, triaging calls, and supporting exam rooms. Part-time hours: Mon–Thu 2pm–6pm and Fri 1pm–6pm, on-site in Miami.

Qualifications

• Must have proven medical assistant experience.
• Familiar with medical office software and procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history.
• Take vitals and document findings in the patient chart.
• Review annual wellness questionnaires with appropriate patients.
• Organize and schedule appointments for wellness checkups.
• Enter laboratory services.
• Administer injections, perform urinalysis and other lab tests; manage vaccine logs.
• Assist during medical examinations.
• Triage patient calls, assess the problem, and consult with the physician.
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
