Job summary

Capyear is seeking a motivated individual for a pre-health role in Hanover, MD. You will assist in patient care under direct clinical supervision of on-site physicians and nursing staff, utilizing the EMR for documentation and supporting day-to-day patient flow.

This full-time position requires a Bachelor’s degree and CPR certification, with a commitment of at least two years. The role includes working Monday to Friday at the Hanover location with access to medication storage areas.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Employment term includes a minimum of two years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of patient care under direct clinical supervision.

This position is for pre-health graduates. Under direct clinical supervision of the on-site physician, assists in the delivery of patient care. Performs delegated medical tasks, assists physician and nursing staff with patient care and may perform clerical duties. Where electronic system is in use, will utilize the EMR for documentation purposes. Fulfillment of job duties requires access to medication storage areas and to transport medications to/ from medication storage and delivery areas. Under direct operational supervision of the manager or designee, participates in the day to operations and patient flow; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required
• CPR certification is required

Employment Term:

• Candidates are expected to commit to a minimum of two years.
