Intermountain Health's iFlex Pediatric Med/Surg team at Primary Children's Hospital Lehi is seeking an experienced RN to provide inpatient pediatric care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and float as needed to support staffing.

This full-time 13-week assignment requires BSN, pediatric Med/Surg experience, PALS, BLS, and compact license transfer within 60 days; compensation includes $74/hour, housing stipend, and benefits.

Formación

• PALS certification required.
• Pediatric Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact license transfers within 60 days.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in clinical condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Prepare and support patients before and after procedures or surgery as appropriate.
• Provide education, reassurance, and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families.
• Promote a family-centered approach to care.
• Accurately and efficiently document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.
