Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an iFlex Pediatric Med/Surg RN for Primary Children’s Hospital Lehi to provide comprehensive pediatric nursing care on a travel/per diem basis. RNs float to support staffing as needed with a focus on infant, child, and adolescent patients.

The role requires prior Pediatric Med/Surg experience, BSN, and valid RN licensure with BLS/PALS. Travel housing reimbursement is pro-rated; full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• PALS certification required.
• Pediatric Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in the practicing state; compact license transfers within 60 days.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• BSN from an accredited program; degree verified.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients with various medical and surgical needs.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Prepare and support patients before and after procedures or surgery.
• Educate families and provide emotional support; promote family-centered care.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
