Job summary

Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham seeks a staff nurse for the Dearth Tower Acute Care Unit. The nurse provides patient-centered care with minimal supervision, including assessment, interventions, reassessment, and care planning for pediatric patients.

The evening/night shift consists of three 12‑hour shifts with alternating days and every other weekend. Required: current Alabama RN license, Basic Life Support, and graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Alabama.
• Current BLS certification.
• Essential: Registered Nurse AL Single State or AL NLC multi-state.
• Essential: Basic Life Support
