Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lubbock is seeking a dependable LVN for a one-on-one pediatric private duty assignment in Littlefield, TX. The role involves school-hour nursing care, medication administration, respiratory monitoring, and coordination with families and the school. A portable defibrillator will be managed as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience preferred but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Respiratory care experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn portable defibrillator management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during school hours.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Monitor respiratory status and changes in condition.
• Monitor and manage the portable defibrillator.
• Follow activity restrictions and safety measures.
• Communicate with the family, school, and care team.
• Complete required documentation.
