Job summary

Novant Health Pediatrics Blakeney is seeking a part-time LPN in a pediatric practice in Charlotte, NC. The 4-day schedule runs Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with eligibility for full-time benefits.

The LPN will work as part of an RN-led team to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to children and their families and will have opportunities for professional growth and tuition support. You will room patients, assist during examinations and procedures, administer vaccines, and collect/prepare

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program, required.
• Licensure: Valid state LPN license, required.
• Additional Skills: Computer skills, phone etiquette, organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms for clinical visits.
• Assist the provider during examinations and procedures.
• Administer vaccines according to clinical guidelines.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
