Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse. The role supports nursing administration at Carolinas Medical Center, performs routine clinical tasks, and collaborates with physicians and care teams to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs and document health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and infection control guidelines.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications under orders, manage IV therapy within scope.
• Provide patient education and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Document patient status and communicate with health care team.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and equipment; assist with transporting.
