All Ways Caring HomeCare in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect care to clients in their home environment. You will support health maintenance and disease prevention, and may assist the RN with plan of care in a home setting.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work independently, and compliance with state regulations. 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are available, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• One or more years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current and unrestricted license in the state of operation (Illinois).
• CPR professional certification.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care and treatments as ordered by physicians and Plan of Care.
• Documents nursing actions and informs physicians and family accordingly.
• Administers and monitors prescribed medications.
• Conducts nursing assessments as needed.
• Follows policies and procedures per operation and state regulations.
• Performs supervisory visits to review plan of care and caregiver competency.
