Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect care in clients' homes. The nurse supports health maintenance and disease prevention to help clients live independently, guiding caregivers under supervision as needed.

Qualified candidates will hold a Nursing degree with current state licensure and CPR certification, plus strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously with confidential information.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• One or more years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current and unrestricted license in the state of operation.
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care/treatment to clients per Physicians Orders and Plan of Care.
• Documents nursing actions of all care given to individuals and informs physicians and family accordingly.
• Administers and monitors medication and management as prescribed by physician.
• Conducts nursing assessment visit as needed.
• Implements nursing support for individuals in a home setting.
• Works with Director or Nursing/Nurse Supervisor and/or Branch Manager to address health needs of individuals.
