Zarminali Pediatrics in Dunkirk, MD is seeking a compassionate Cross-Trained Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support both clinical and front-office roles. The position provides flexibility across duties to ensure a seamless patient experience for families and providers.

Ideal candidates will hold an active LPN license, current BLS/CPR, and 2+ years in a clinical setting, preferably pediatrics. Proficiency with EMR, scheduling systems, and office tech is valued.

Qualifications

• Active state LPN license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• 2+ years clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics/outpatient care.
• Experience in a cross-trained clinical-front-office role preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR, scheduling systems, and basic office technology.
• Comfort performing both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for appointments.
• Take vital signs and conduct assessments within scope of practice.
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, COVID, Hb).
• Administer vaccines safely and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist physicians and APPs with patient care and procedures.
• Prepare, stock, and maintain exam rooms per infection control standards.
• Support medication refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and recalls.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.
• Contribute to front-office tasks: check-in, scheduling, and phone handling.
