Home of the Innocents in Louisville seeks an LPN Staff Nurse to care for medically complex children and young adults at Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center. You’ll work with RNs and a multidisciplinary team in a trauma-informed environment where your care can change lives.

No vent or trach experience? Training is provided; strong communication and compassion are essential for success in this role. This position offers day or night shifts with rotating weekends and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license in Kentucky.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for working with children and families.
• Commitment to trauma‑informed care and collaborative teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care to children and young adults with complex medical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and monitor care plans.
• Provide care and support per physician orders and care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with regulations.
• Educate families on managing medical conditions and home care requirements.
