Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an LPN (part time) to provide clinical support under RN supervision, ensuring smooth patient flow and physician/patient satisfaction. The role liaises between patients and providers, administering medications and treatments per orders and completing assigned tasks.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited LPN program with strong communication, customer service, and technical skills, including basic Office/Google Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support under supervision to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Administer medications and treatments per RN orders.
• Record vital signs and intake/output; assist with care plans.
• Support patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition and daily activities.
• Utilize equipment and assist physicians with procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to supervisors.
• Float to different units as needed and participate in emergencies.
