Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis seeks an Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Pediatric Care team at Riverside, full-time 1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly). You will perform delegated nursing tasks and patient care under RN or physician supervision, following care plans and clinical guidelines.

The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, an active LPN license, and Basic Life Support certification; ambulatory care and at least one year of clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program is required.
• Current LPN License.
• Basic Life Support Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Follows the patient’s plan of care and collaborates with RN/physician.
• Performs delegated nursing tasks and data collection per care plan.
• Documents care in the medical record and communicates clearly with the team.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and nursing guidelines.
• Responds appropriately to emergent situations and ensures continuity of care.
• Provides patient and family education as part of the care plan.
