Duke Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hepatologist to join our academic faculty within the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. You will care for children with acute and chronic liver disease, participate in transplant collaborations, and contribute to education, research, and program development.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MD/PhD required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Transplant Hepatology preferred.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Commitment to teaching, scholarship, and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with acute and chronic liver disease and post-transplant follow-up.
• Participate in multidisciplinary transplant team collaborations with surgery, hepatology, nursing, social work, and pharmacy.
• Supervise and educate pediatric GI fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical and translational research in pediatric liver disease.
• Assume leadership roles and direct clinical programs within hepatology or transplant over time.
