Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking aLicensed Practical Nurse to support pediatric laboratory operations and patient care in a general pediatrics setting. The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, and collaboration with physicians and lab staff.

Qualifications

• LPN license current in the state where the team member practices.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures and specimen collection following safety protocols.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications under physician orders, including immunizations and IV therapy as permitted.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and labs; manage supplies and equipment.
