Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center to join the patient care team. The role involves day shifts (24 hours per week) and delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating with physicians and staff, and supporting patient and family-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), be licensed as an RN, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate or Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license valid in the state per requirements.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as part of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain documentation of patient assessment and care delivered.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and governance.
