Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• Current RN license required; may be single state or Compact multi-state.
• BLS certification required; Instructor credential or equivalence preferred.
• Ability to participate in performance improvement and maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Assist with care plans and coordinate with the patient care team to optimize outcomes.
• Deliver care according to policies, document care provided and patient response.
• Advocate for patients and families; communicate care plans with team and caregivers.
• Support shared governance, maintain confidentiality, and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned and uphold Wellstar Health System policies.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

Diploma in Nursing

Bachelor's in Nursing preferred

RN license (single state) or RN-COMPACT

BLS certification (Instructor or Basic Life Support)
