Job Description: Pediatric Infusion RN at Johns Hopkins Care at Home

Position Overview: Provides, coordinates, teaches, and supervises care for patients in the home setting. Develops and implements care plans for patients requiring in-home health and support services, following physician orders.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients (newborns to young adults) in accordance with Maryland & District of Columbia Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Apply principles of teaching and learning to patients and caregivers with varied needs.
• Organize work tasks efficiently, meet responsibilities, and adhere to time requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years' experience in an acute pediatric care setting, preferably in critical care or ED
• Experience with high-tech infusions (Biologics, Immunotherapy, Chemotherapy)
• Skills in maintaining CVADs and placing peripheral catheters in pediatric patients
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and computer programs

Work Location: Baltimore, MD

Work Hours: 8 hours per visit

Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
