Intermountain Health's Primary Children’s at Lehi is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pediatric IV services in a swing-2 shift. The role involves aiding pharmacists, handling medication orders, and ensuring accurate records in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
• Lapse or failure to meet requirements may result in disciplinary action.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of pharmacy services under supervision.
• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
• Collect clinical and other patient information and maintain records as required.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and perform calculations; assist in compounding as appropriate.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor inventories, ensuring security and cost-effectiveness.
