Job summary

The Interventional Radiologist at NCPS RADIOLOGY MAIN provides specialized pediatric interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology services. Qualified physicians perform image-guided, minimally invasive procedures and support comprehensive patient care with a focus on teaching residents and participating in research.

Responsibilities include clinical service delivery, inservice education, reviewing imaging, developing treatment plans, and contributing to performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current Florida medical license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions and treatment.
• Continues to self-educate via journals, CME, and conferences.
• Coordinates and delivers inservices for staff and residents.
• Interprets diagnostic images and communicates results to teams.
• Delivers clinical services including history, physicals, orders, teaching, and follow-up.
• Contributes to department improvement and research activities.
• Participates in teaching medical students and residents.
• Participates in call schedule as assigned.
