The Department of Radiology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, in partnership with Children’s Health, invites applications for a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join one of the fastest growing Pediatric IR programs in North America.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious physician to help shape the future of Pediatric Interventional Radiology within one of the nation's leading academic medical centers while participating in the development of a new $5 billion Children's Health campus opening in 2031.

Position Highlights

We are building a destination Pediatric IR program centered on multidisciplinary collaboration, innovation, clinical excellence, education, and research.

Our vision extends beyond providing procedures—we are creating nationally recognized Centers of Excellence in Pediatric Interventional Radiology. Faculty have the opportunity to develop and lead programs aligned with their clinical interests.

Whether your passion is vascular anomalies, liver transplantation, pediatric oncology, thyroid intervention, or another area, we encourage faculty to build programs around their expertise.

Research Collaboration:

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Radiology

  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
  • Commitment to delivering excellent patient-centered care
