Job summary

UW Health's American Family Children\'s Hospital in Madison, WI seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the Cardiac Program. You will contribute to inpatient and outpatient care for children with congenital heart disease and related conditions, with a focus on cost-effective, high-quality care.

You will perform pre-procedure assessments, post-procedure instructions, and outpatient follow ups, while collaborating in the PHT clinic and with a dedicated APP leadership structure.

Qualifications

• Minimum NP or PA credential with Wisconsin license.
• Active DEA license or eligible before hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as relevant to practice area.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure history and physicals, obtain consent, and place orders.
• Complete post-procedure assessments, discharge teaching and orders.
• Conduct post-procedure outpatient follow up visits.
• Participate in Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic and inpatient consults.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging, prescribe medications.
