Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University in Portland is seeking an experienced RN for the Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit. This relief/flex role covers night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with compensation based on experience.

The PIMC unit cares for pediatric patients 0–18 years old in a step-down ICU setting. You will participate in transfers, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; an active Oregon RN license and pediatric certifications (PALS, CPN or CNRN) are required.

Qualifications

• PALS certification required or within 2 years of hire.
• CPN or CNRN certification within 2 years of hire.
• BSN or ADN with BSN transition plan before start date and program completion within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate-level nursing care for pediatric patients 0–18 years old.
• Coordinate transfers within Doernbecher and support a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in orientation and uphold essential functions with/without accommodation.
