Job summary

The Nemours Foundation is hiring a Pediatric Intensivist at their Wilmington location. In this full-time role, you will manage patient care in a 24-32 bed pediatric ICU, work with a team on education and procedures, and have opportunities for academic involvement. Qualifications

Pediatric Intensivist - Pediatric Critical Care Unit

The Division of Critical Care Medicine at Nemours Children’s Hospital Delaware seeks a Board-eligible/Board-certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our team in Wilmington. This physician will participate in direct patient care in our 24‑32 bed pediatric ICU, managing patients with various medical, surgical, and trauma-related critical illnesses. Responsibilities include daytime clinical service and in‑house nighttime call, overall direction of patient management, procedures, and education of residents, fellows, and other trainees. Physicians are expected to work closely with nursing and ancillary departments to maintain a teamwork approach to family‑centered care.

Academic interests in research, informatics, quality improvement/patient safety, education, or administration/operations that supplement clinical expertise are required to optimize professional contributions locally and to help expand Nemours impact on pediatric critical illness regionally and nationally.

Qualifications
