Ochsner Health Center is seeking an Integrated Care Pediatric Primary Care Clinical Psychologist to practice at our Northshore location in Covington. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D.

in Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved program and be licensed or eligible for Louisiana licensure. The ideal candidate will have experience with children and adolescents and prefer integrated care settings. Formación

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Louisiana.
• Experience with children/adolescents; integrated care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care to children and families in a growing pediatric primary care clinic.
• Accept consult requests from pediatric primary care providers to triage patient needs and implement brief, solutions-focused follow-up interventions.
• Recommend appropriate follow-up services and help families navigate access to additional services, including staying current with pediatric mental and behavioral health services.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to create screening protocols for childhood mental health and plan of care for at-risk patients.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to delineate a crisis protocol and assist in implementation of that protocol.
• Remain well-informed of research around best practices for integrated care and participate with regional and/or national workgroups focused on integrated care/child psychology.
• Participate in monthly section and department meetings, and Pediatrics Grand Rounds as applicable.
