Job summary

Ochsner Health's Psychiatry & Behavioral Health division is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for outpatient clinics in Louisiana. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat adults with a broad range of behavioral health needs, including integration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry required.
• Licensed or eligible for Louisiana medical licensure; willingness to obtain licensure.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry and telepsychiatry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adults.
• Supervise and teach psychiatry residents, fellows, and APPs.

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its growing Psychiatry & Behavioral Health team. Position Highlights:

• Full-Time and Part-Time outpatient clinic opportunities
• Telepsychiatry and remote work options available (must have or be willing to obtain Louisiana medical licensure)
• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adults with a wide range of behavioral, emotional, and developmental conditions
• Opportunity to supervise and teach psychiatry residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
• Work within multidisciplinary teams including APPs, Psychiatry PharmD, clinical psychologists, social workers, counselors, and care coordinators
