Responsibilities

• Leadership - May serve as lead or supervisor in the absence of formal leadership.
• Chemotherapy orders - process and have dosages checked by two Pharmacists; prepare chemotherapy in appropriate hood.
• Intravenous preparations - train others and prepare IVs, check for errors, ensure delivery per policy.
• Medication orders - verify, dispense, and record interventions; resolve problem orders and communicate with physicians/nurses.
• Serve as a resource - use current references for drug interactions, dosing by patient weight, and age; assist in problem solving.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy OR PharmD Degree
