Job summary

Ascension Health in Pensacola invites you to join the Pediatric Infusion team at Studer Family Children's Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines to support well-coordinated patient care.

You’ll carry out orders, assist with discharge planning, and work the Day Shift or PRN schedule. Requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and a nursing diploma from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida or multi-state license (Compact State) before hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
