Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Infusion RN at Summey Medical Pavilion to provide infusion services for patients aged 0–17. Opportunity to become certified in US Guided IV if needed; pediatric IV skills preferred, adult IV skills required.

Hours are 7:30am–4pm, with commitment to work 1 day per week. This PRN, employee role requires SC RN licensure, BLS certification, and ongoing BSN progression per policy.

Qualifications

• RN with SC licensure or compact state license.
• Bachelor or higher nursing degree preferred; BSN required within four years if hired with ADN/ Diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion services to patients aged 0–17.
• Perform infusion procedures with pediatric IV emphasis; adult IV skills required.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation during infusions.
• Collaborate with MUHA team at Summey Medical Pavilion.
