Job summary

OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital invites applications for a Per Diem APP Clinical Associate in the Infusion Center. The role features variable shifts including daytime and weekend coverage, aligned with department workflows and contract terms.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in patient care, education, and research activities as required by the position. The ideal candidate holds an APRN in pediatric acute or primary care or a Physician Assistant with NCCPA

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with APRN licensure for pediatric acute/primary care.
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant with NY/OR NCCPA credentials or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and certification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Serves as covering provider for the Doernbecher Infusion Center, including approximately one weekend per month.
• Evaluates and manages acute issues during treatment, including hypersensitivity, infusion reactions, chemotherapy and immunotherapy side effects, fever, and new symptoms; decides escalation, transfer or admission.
• Contributes to clinical care, education, and research activities with students, trainees, and patients participating in research, per role and policies.
