Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking a Pediatric Infectious Diseases physician to join a growing division providing inpatient and outpatient care. The role includes teaching medical students and trainees, and participating in antimicrobial stewardship and related programs.

The successful applicant will hold or be eligible for a clinical faculty title with the University of Arizona College of Medicine, with potential collaborations at Mayo Clinic-Scottsdale and Creighton University.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
• Commitment to patient care and trainee education
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consults and outpatient care in pediatric ID
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and transplant programs
• Collaborate with other divisions and departments to support research and education
